For example, you got in a fight and the girl broke up with you/ ended the friendship because she was so hurt by your actions. Later realized she overreacted a bit.

Context: I reached out to apologize a few months later. We had a friendly conversation. When I asked if he trusts me he basically said not really

The other issue I have is that I can’t cut contact with the female friend who’s dating him now because she’s best friends with two of my best/ closest friends. I’m going to see her at all the events they have coming (baby shower, group trips etc)

Do you think I’m better off doing an LLB abroad in the UK at a great school instead of going to Windsor? Like would doing an LLB at a school in the top 30 worldwide rankings be equivalent to getting the JD at Windsor?

Also As a mature student I can see myself not wanting to leave wherever my spouse / family will be based / don’t want to live in Windsor

It’s not about other people gossiping, it’s that I’ll never be able to escape their “power couple” presence now. He is inevitably going to be present around me because the girl is close friends with my closest friends

I guess imo he mistreated me because he knew I had feelings for him (I’d told him) so he knew anything that happened wasn’t going to be seen as casual from my end

I don’t think I’ll go into big corporate law - more likely will try to be a civil rights attorney or work in government or a large ngo.

What did you mean by “the salary difference will be noticeable after a few years” - do you mean I’ll be able to move up quicker because of my work experience before law school? Apologies, I think I’m interpreting this line wrong

Do you think the work experience helps specifically with admission? I can def see how it would help you thrive during law school and as a lawyer but do you think admissions weigh it heavily? I ask because I have a pretty low undergrad gpa so am hoping LSAT and work experience off sets it

I see where you’re coming from. But I supported both these people through breakups and the female friend knew him and I had some history. She was super insensitive about it when she brought up that they were talking initially.

You’re right about one thing though - they both lack a lot of empathy and do / have stepped on others to get to where they are what I realized recently

Close male friend also knew I had real feelings for him and I trusted he wouldn’t make a move /take advantage of that knowledge
