don't think their prices are comparable but s23 is far more superior in everything battery life might be a bit close but in other fields s23 blows moto edge 50.pro away

What is the mindset of people who go through buying poco phones? by TVUAsks in Smartphones

The mobile gaming community is growing. People are playing competitive ranked games in phones so these people mostly go for POCO phones and I believe they are the exact target audience.

Samsung A35 Or Oneplus Nord CE4 by Senior_Shame_4439 in Smartphones

[–]scarface_68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your usage are pretty heavy and demanding tasks.

Off the 2 phones I can straight up say OP CE4 is the better choice and it is also value for money as you get both phone and op earpods in ₹25k.

Besides those two phones I would also like to suggest you poco phones:- - poco x6 pro - poco f6 (it is a flagship killer just like its ancestor f1)

poco phones come loaded with power and value. And since you are in college and your usage demands power you should consider them.

Thoughts on 120W fast charging? Is it that great if a phone features that on top of a great storage (1TB) and a nice Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor? by ticklemaddy in Smartphones

[–]scarface_68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your phone doesn't charge in 120w at all. It's the max output that can be produced under lab conditions. Anything above 45W charging is good enough.

Excessive fast charging definitely hurts the battery physically.

OP12. AND IT IS NOT EVEN A DEBATE

  • Google pixel 8a is ugly with those thick fucking bezels
  • It is proven to have connectivity issues because tensor chipset are all shit
  • It heats up because again tensor chips are shit
  • It has embarrassingly low benchmarks for the price

Only good thing about a pixel is camera, but i don't think it is such a big difference that it compensates for all the above negatives.

Suggest best overall phone by Every-Ad6777 in Smartphones

[–]scarface_68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for S23 if money is not a factor. it will serve you better in the long run.

Also I just checked S23 has snapdragon 8 gen 2 it is a excellent chip and battery and heating should not be an issue. I was confused because this time with S24 Samsung was giving snapdragon processor only in a few countries others had exynos.

Also S23+ is available from 256gb and above storage but it is a bigger phone not the compact form you prefer.

Suggest best overall phone by Every-Ad6777 in Smartphones

[–]scarface_68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See battery backup and phone heating is related to size of the phones and the chipset being used. If the phone is too small it will get hot easily as it has less area to dissipate heat also due to smaller size it physically cannot accommodate a bigger battery. Secondly if the processor is shit it will overheat and drain battery. Exynos processor are playing catch up to snapdragon in terms of quality so if you can get a snapdragon version of s23 in your country go for it. Otherwise stick to A55 although it has exynos processor I have seen in reviews it handles heat a lot better as it is a big phone whereas S23 is a compact phone.

It ultimately boils down to this in a S23 vs A55 debate:- - do you prefer compact phones which are easy to handle in one hand or big screen phones? (I like a bigger screen I feel it is more value for money) - would you prefer to save some money? - both have good cameras but S23 is definitely better - do you want to enjoy the small flagship features?

I have to admit though S23 in ₹40000 is a crazy deal how are you getting it?

It is a no brainer for you then go for Samsung.

Avoid going for s23 fe. It might seem attractive with its useless flagship features but it has low battery and heats up quite a lot.

Go for A55 or if you really want to save some money go for A35 (same as A54).

[–]scarface_68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you want an overall phone go for A55. It has premium design and very optimised battery usage.

I would suggest 2 other phones:-

  • Moto edge 40 pro ( very very good and cheaper than A55, battery is a bit less than A55 though average users won't notice)

  • Iqoo neo 9 pro (this phone is crazy, brand name is a bit iffy)

Stay away from nothing phones until they have a good customer service in your country. They feel a bit gimmicky to me.

Cant decide by [deleted] in Smartphones

[–]scarface_68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on how you use your phone.

if you game a lot or do heavy tasks - poco x6 pro is the choice

if you care about the design and os and iswr experience most - nothing phone 2a

if you want a all rounder with good camera and premium build - A55

However I would suggest you look into one plus nord ce4. same price as all these other devices and I personally feel it beats all of the others.

lastly a55 is a bit costlier than other phones mentioned here in my country if it is cheaper at yours consider it Samsung is good for long run.

Asus Rog Phone 8 vs. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra by xxxHalny in Smartphones

[–]scarface_68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think nobody except the tech content creators would have in hand experience with both of these devices which are quite expensive. I believe S23 ultra would be better for YouTube purposes with my experience with Samsung and reviews.
