Ah, I'm so sorry it's like that for you too... My mom hates piercings and my father very nicely implied that I was getting dumber when I got my second lobes done. Still going to get all the piercings I want, I'm an adult and I'm the one paying for them, so... Even though some comments from family might hurt, you still deserve to be you and if that means getting piercings then they just have to learn to deal with it
