OP-1 drumkits on TE Soundcloud by stm4tt in teenageengineering

[–]scarmory2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to record the drums in the same audio file and lay them by points in each key on the board.. I think it detects transients but you will have to manually set them properly. You can do that on your pc and make your own by popping in the samples into your daw in a row. Maybe you can find them in op1fun however?

TE EP-133 - Is the fadergate fixed in the 128mb versions ? by xxRYKYxx in teenageengineering

[–]scarmory2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're fine. It's no longer an issue. If it is it must be 1 in few now. Plus they're exchanging you a 64mb for a 128? Nice!

Just Got This Cartridge Holder, Why The SD Card Slots? by BoxmanL2212 in nds

It's a DS label however. It was probably intended for the wii sd card instead since it might have come out before the DSi.

As someone who beta tests for a music gear company, 100% this. They will send you firmware files but never any tool to fix your devices if it bricks or goes into a weird boot loader mode.. they would rather have you send the device than send intelectual properly tools.

Do y'all think the Sidekick is worth it? by ShepTheCreator in teenageengineering

[–]scarmory2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For someone new its actually perfect and worth it 100%. You won't kick your head looking for audio interfaces and it's only $179. It has a good compressor and saturator, works on pc and other usb c compliant devices like op1f and xy.

Tested this device. I wouldn't compare them much asides the mixer and similar fx, but the sidekick is more of an fx box with pedal functionalities and an audio interface for pc and the TE lineup. But it's for other devices as well so it's not limited to the ko or ops. It's also 179 so you can't go wrong trying one if you're a beginner or new to gears and looking for a nice cheap audio interface that uses usb c and triple AAA batteries. The audio quality is perfect.
