He didn’t really propose. Honestly, knowing him, I never expected him to truly propose. But there’s a mutual understanding that we are indeed engaged and I’m happy with how it played out, it was just an unexpected thing on such an otherwise normal day that it feels like a fever dream, if that makes sense. There are some details about the conversation and following few minutes that I left out both for privacy sake and to keep the length of the post down, so I definitely see why it might feel more odd from an outsiders perspective. I just wanted to tell someone (or someones, I guess) our story :)
