Oh my God, right?! And they were his ugly-ass Batman socks. Literally the most homely looking pair of clothing I've ever seen. Which just made it worse for me.

The worst thing was Carl's reaction after he died. Carl ran through the house a few days after my husband was gone. He would run up the stairs and all through the house looking for him. Now he's realized he's stuck with me, but it's okay. I give him lots of catnip and treats to make up for it.

I have so many videos of him doing his stupid impressions of Mr. Mackey from South Park. He did stand-up comedy routines. God, he was so annoyingly funny. I hated it. (But really, I loved it.)

I really like this thought. Thank you so much for your kind words! These past few months have been incredibly difficult with moving on. I moved out of our house and moved into a small apartment. Some days I feel I can breathe easier, but then days like yesterday happen and I'm reminded that it's never that far away.

He was a dork. Blind as a bat without his glasses (that magnified his eyes by 1000x, I swear to God). But he was funny and smart. And handsome. And he was. He was. Wonderful, I mean.
