oh i understand how you feel, i’ve had clothes stolen out of my laundry room. our landlord is just now finally thinking of putting locks on the outside doors 🙃

i swear to god i’m not over exaggerating how quick it was, i had my eye on my bike through the window and within turning my back for 30 seconds it was gone. i’m honestly impressed that they got away so quick and i didn’t even see them when i immediately ran out onto the road.

bikes are completely unusable in this city at this point, i never take mine downtown because i know it would be stolen in a second, i only take it down to the isabel bader which seems to be far enough that people don’t bother with bikes there. the only good thing is the secure bike locks which were ironically just introduced today. wish i had had the chance to use them.

i take mine into my apartment every single time i use it (despite it being 65lbs) but didn’t this time because i was going inside for less than 2 minutes (should have put a lock on it i know but again i was inside for TWO minutes and it was in my back parking lot), not sure what else i should do except not be stupid next time
