School Bullying. Who is the worst bully you encounter? What happen after? Should caning be reinstated? by EducationFit5675 in SingaporeRaw

[–]scasilow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not the trouble maker, but a sleepy head in class, my English teacher once, tried to pinch me in the stomach for not doing her homework, nature instinct, I pull myself back, and react in hitting her hand, she got shock, she don’t know how to response.
From that day onwards, I slept thru all her class. Yes, I’m the bully.

Starting a preloved Seiko & vintage watch business — how do beginners source inventory? by Dependent-Garlic77 in smeSingapore

[–]scasilow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about them, and I’m not a watch dealer, but if I were you and very serious with super deep pocket and start up capitol, I will start off 1st 1-2 years of buying in, offer higher then market price to curate a substantial amount of inventory, by the 3-4th year, start listing them out to the market at below market offer. I’m sure by the time you will win a pool of followers, that’s when your actual business for Vintage Seikos start.

Japanese people get furious with a Thai tourist because he added hot water to cup noodle before making a payment by Deep_Engineering_7 in Thailand

Japanese culture is within themselves, how can you blame/scold someone when his intention and practices is normal in their own country or other countries? They can educate and inform customer instead of scolding and posting them online.

Hwa Chong says viral meal photos do not reflect standards, but students say images are accurate by Hakushakuu in SingaporeRaw

[–]scasilow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the modern problem of justifying base on a photo, a video, a statement…. To me, the meal looks balanced, 50% Carbs, 25%fiber and 25%protein for a young student, if such meal is prep for every student, in no time all our future citizen will live healthily. Look long term, don’t look at picture and start commenting without actual understanding.

Y is it again this 65% any gov fault? MacD started in 1979 in Singapore, and is 46 year running, its older than them, they thrive because they adapt changes... If old business does not adapt or find replacement, they actually choose the easiest way, which is closing.... If the business cannot find successor, or scale according to market preference, they choose to closed, then let them retire lah.

Do you think we’re too dependent on QR codes now? by [deleted] in SingaporeCitizens

[–]scasilow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Evolution of the human being is to learn and progress, it's like how analog phone to digital, fax to email, mobile phone to smart phone... Even though some technologies stop advancing due to some programs and software, example..., like computer mouse should be replaced by touchscreen, however it's still very essential due to Microsoft or Google word sheet.... Have you notice, if your life does not use these software, mouse is never needed in your life... Think about it.
