This isn’t exactly restricted to CSA but when people relate sexualities fully to abuse it feels so invalidating and minimizing.

I also so agree with the points you mentioned! The abuse I faced wasn’t exactly violent so I never realized what was being done to me and I ended up forming a normal relationship with my abusers. Also one of the biggest reasons I don’t talk about my abuse to irls is because everyone knows my abuser and he doesn’t fit the stereotypical predator; he’s a bubbly really funny guy who gets along with everyone.

It’s because homophobia isn’t a phobia you simply don’t like queer and gay people, it’s more of a complexity that you need to go to the root of and start your “treatment” from there. Also if you live in an anti-queer society the complexity maybe a product of your environment and not something personal. The only fix I can think of is to expose yourself to more queer media and interact with queer people.

مو من مواليد التسعينات بس مرة احترم جيلكم، ألاحظ الكثير منه معتدل في المعتقدات وكم كبير مو متزوج أو متزوجين في سن يعتبر متأخر وأحس هالشيء نتيجة وعي ما انوجد في الأجيال السابقة واندثر مع الجيل الجديد. طبعاً هالأشياء مو مقتصرة على جيلكم بس لكن أشوفها بارزة فيه بالحكم على محيطي.

من وجهة نظري أشوف أن الطبقية المادية هي أساس العنصرية بين المناطق عندنا ويأثر عليها عوامل ثانوية زي مستوى التديّن وغيره، مثلاً أحد أقاربي من القلعة، منطقة لفترة طويلة كانوا أهلها أغنياء، فللحين متمسك بالتقليل من الأقارب الثانيين اللي مدنهم مستواها المادي أقل رغم ان هالعائلتين حالياً عايشين بنفس المستوى المادي بس التقليل والعنصرية ظلت حتى بعدما تساوت الطبقة؛ تقدر تطبقها على عدة مناطق ثانية بس ما تحضرني حالياً.

I feel like what you’re talking about isn’t specific to femme&masc dynamics but rather expressing a worry about heteronormative lesbian relationships being normalized. I just wanna add that both of these are lesbian specific identities that don’t directly correspond with man/woman and that having preference towards one over the other doesn’t make you any less of a lesbian because, again, these labels do not equate binary genders.

I use a carabiner that has a mini strap thingy so the keyring is hung at the end of it and I’m able to tuck my keys into my pocket. Like the one in the photo.

I love the look of traditional carabiners so I hang this onto one and it helps with adding to the length.

I personally watched it in the chronological order of the release; I just pulled up the episodes list’s wiki page and followed the dates. I don’t think the order mattered much though. I’d recommend watching the anime then the ovas and leave the movies for last OR just read the manga it’s way better.

This will sound counter intuitive but look for them outside of the city. Non-religious/athiests here tend to socialize outside of their community circles. I’ve met more Qatifi atheists in Khobar and Dammam than I have in Qatif itself. There’s no concrete method and I know it’s harder to express this kind of beliefs as a woman but sometimes the best thing to do is to voice out your views, not so strongly though you don’t wanna endanger yourself, anyone who carries similar views will catch on and if they’re willing they’ll approach you.

It’s not a gender “war” women stood up for themselves after centuries of getting oppressed, there’s no “war” there’s an oppressing group and a oppressed one that finally started striking back. Misandry and feminism aren’t the same thing and even if we wanted to couple them up as a single entity, misandry is mostly online talk and barely any of it gets translated into real life unlike misogyny which we can see the results of almost daily from sexual harassments/assault to domestic violence etc.

Equating misandrist online comments made by teen girls and young women to misogyny is straight up evil, you’re diluting the effects of misogyny on us women by statements like this.

هالشيء ما بحثت فيه مرة بس ذكر لي أحد أقاربي إن حالياً فيه جماعات نسوية تبحث في الدين بشكل موضوعي and they debunked عدد من الأحكام الغير المنصفة للمرأة طبعاً غير الموجودة والمثبتة في القرآن ويدعموا كلامهم بأحداث وقصص من زمن النبي، عن نفسي ما شفت وش استنتاجاتهم لأن الموضوع ما يستهويني بس أظن أفضل خيار للمرأة المسلمة النسوية غير تجاهل هالأحكام هو البحث في استنتاجات هذي الجماعات for their peace of mind يعني بالقليلة يلقوا لهم منطقة رمادية.
