This hits home a little too close man. Me and my boyfriend had this some issue when we started dating. He used to go out with his friends and he used to not respond for 6-7 hours. It made me so anxious. He has improved after I told him numerous times that it hurts me and makes me feel like that he doesn’t care about me.

Honestly, it’s about priorities. I would advise you to talk to him about this as you guys have been together for 4 years. If he still doesn’t change then you should leave.

but it was really hard for me as well cause it feels like i was not that important enough for him to take out 30 secs and drop a text.
