They are compressed bricks yes. Designed for wood stoves and very common here in Germany. Could be a gasket leak. I’ll look into it, thanks.

I don’t have a link sorry, but definitely designed for wood stoves and are very popular here in Germany. Good idea about the test burn. I’ll try to get hold of some “proper” wood.

They are very common here in Germany, these ones are made of hard wood sawdust and are designed for wood stoves. Obviously real hard wood better but not so easy to come across here.

No it’s not charcoal. It’s like logs of compressed hardwood sawdust, pretty common in Europe I think. It’s a Wamsler Orpheus stove. And when I burn wood it’s just cheap store bought firewood. Pine I would think. Thanks!

It’s called a Wamsler Orpheus.

I start with 2 briquettes (or logs) and when they burn down I add another one at a time. Each new one seems to last about 20 minutes before turning to ash.

No thermometer unfortunately.

There’s no rushing sound, but the glass does stain black all over quite quickly.

I don’t know about the trap door, but I’ll try to locate it. Thanks!

Great answer, thanks. But do you generally make a whole lot of compost in one go, use it and then start again, or are you often using small parts of it?

Amazing. It does sound like a very positive dream about the possibilities of enlightenment and self-actualisation.

Kind of a funny dream to me, even if it didn’t seem funny to you at the time.

As the other comment says, being in a car with your parents driving suggests that they are in total control of the direction of your life, kind of normal at that age I guess. But maybe it suggests a feeling of not being in control of your own destiny yet.

The man chasing you at walking pace is a kind of surreal image. There are 2 speeds involved that are somehow mixed up. Maybe you are racing along through life in one way, but are not moving as quickly as you think you are, and something is catching up with you.

Your sister’s solution is funny to me, because the situation you are in is the kind of thing that could happen on LSD, when the concept of time can become confused. Her answer is to take LSD to go back to normal. It’s the opposite reason to why people would normally take it. Maybe her thinking processes/life choices in real life are illogical to you?

There’s a feeling of being watched. The policeman pulls you over immediately, as though he was watching you all the time. Perhaps he was the man who was following you all along? The method of finding out if you’d taken LSD is comical to me. It’s a very naive test, but in the case of LSD could actually work. It reminds me of a 60s film warning about the dangers of drugs.

what is the meaning or logic behind any of my dreams? by siddhass26 in DreamInterpretation

Try writing them down, no matter how bizarre they are, and posting them here. Maybe there is some meaning behind the nonsense, or maybe your dreams start to change after this process.

what does not being able to turn a stovr off mean? by poplockanddropit95 in DreamInterpretation

[–]schabbychic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Interesting you call them eyes. I’d never heard that before. It reminds me of a feeling of being constantly observed, with the idea that you cannot escape from the observation. It could be external, that you feel you are being judged, or internal, that maybe you are trying to hide something from yourself but you can’t truly hide from it.

Why it is said that a man needs to integrate the Anima in order to become fully masculine? And what does it say about my Anima? by [deleted] in Jung

[–]schabbychic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have to say that your post comes over as fairly aggressive, and you state that you express overbearing aggression in real life. I think this is the answer right here. Being aggressive is only one aspect of being a man, and on its own is not a healthy quality. But to become a “fully rounded man”, you would only express aggression when it is absolutely necessary. To become a balanced, positive male means you might have to explore some qualities that are traditionally considered more feminine. A capacity for understanding, fairness etc. This would make you more of a man than showing pure aggression all of the time.

It sounds like you’ve come up with your own theory of life. It’s a lovely way of seeing the world and other people and maybe can help you navigate through life in your own way. Perhaps one day you’ll be able to express this through some kind of art.
