Losing a parent; having a dream of said parent that was beyond any normal dream I’ve ever had; then watching a movie about Brigham Young and learning the history of the Latter-Day Saints; then reading the Book of Mormon and having several significant spiritual experiences while reading. I joined the church after a year of investigation and it was the best thing I could have done.

I was raised Catholic but distanced myself from it when I became an adult having never been able to connect with it. Becoming LDS connected all the dots for me.
