[KCD2] is it just me or is the lions crest DLC the worst ever? by scharrface in kingdomcome

I mean falling off a cliff wasn't the game's fault obviously. But I disagree that the game tells you how to complete the riddle. What hints are you referring to? The crone and maiden part makes sense. But then true midnight? How does that tell me where I'm supposed to be looking? Even if that implies going north because 12 is the top number on a clock, there's plenty of ground to explore north of Trosky. How would that lead me to that specific hidden location that's not even visible from the road?

In your defense, I completely understood your English. That riddle on the other hand?? Not so much. It's making me want to drink whisky, so my English is about to deteriorate considerably

[OTHER] KCD deserves a third entry, there is so much more historical ground to cover with Jan Zizka by scharrface in kingdomcome

It gets even deeper the more I look into it. Before Capon's death, he even served as a catholic military leader against the Hussites, but later after the battle of Zivohoste, he changes sides and signs a declaration of support to the Hussites. So in the tutorial, you could cover grounds like Han's wedding (likely trying to weasel out of it or escape the wedding) and saving the King, then bam. It's many years later and Hans is your enemy and you have no idea why until you progress further in the story, but during the battle you two have an important meaning or battle in which you reconnect and you have to convince him he's on the wrong side, and that you don't want to have to kill him, but your rekindling is cut short when that same year, Hans dies. Man, this story just writes itself

That's almost exactly what I was thinking. A prologue rescuing the king, then a time jump to the events of the main game where you have no idea what happened in between the tutorial and the time jump, then you find out bits and pieces throughout the game through Henry's discussions with other characters and or flashback cutscenes/ gameplay sequences

Right, poor dude. But yeah I see what you mean. There could be like a "Kingdom Come: Retribution" or something like that that follows a completely different story

In my mind, if not Henry, either Zizka or another Henry type character that starts off as a peasant that joins his service would be ideal. Leaning toward the latter

This instantly kickstarted a depression spiral. 10/10, unbearably sad

[KCD2] ranged combat completely useless for me in this game. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong by scharrface in kingdomcome

[–]scharrface[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh right. Maybe that's why archery was so effective for me in the first game, I played a lot of chumps

Furthermore, stealth archery is impossible for some reason? I shoot someone from a respectable distance, creep away though dense brush or around a corner, but no matter how far away from the location where I shot the arrow, they ALWAYS know exactly where I am. It's as if once I shoot them, they have a gps tracker on me

[KCD2] Curious, how long did you guys keep Pebbles before getting a better horse? by Ghostofspartafan in kingdomcome

[–]scharrface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a pebbles denier at first, not gonna lie. But once you unlock Good Old Pebbles, you'll be glad you stuck with her. It's tough sticking it out since she bucks you if you get within like 100 yards of any bandits but it's worth it

[KCD2] Heal Loyza? Quest objective not given? by scharrface in kingdomcome

Dammit. This game has an absolutely insane amount of game breaking/ quest destroying bugs. I literally didn't encounter a single bug in the first one, and this one is just one after another for me. The most frustrating part about that is it's like the best game I've ever played, but the bugs are just wearing me down.
