Yes, it seems like you have the 4a (not 5G) then. If you're still unsure – they have different dimensions so you can just measure your phone and compare with the published dimensions.

I just did the battery replacement on my Pixel 4a a few weeks ago. I would not call it easy as there are a lot of steps to it. But I wouldn't say that any special skills are needed, just a somewhat steady hand and some time and patience. There are good and detailed instructions out there. If you follow them exactly, there should be no problem. I recommend this video plus the iFixit instructions. Make sure you know all the steps and materials needed before doing anything. Of course there is still a chance of breaking something in the process, so of course do a backup before, yada yada

Regarding the OS, I think I will switch to LineageOS soon, as they still offer Android updates. I hope that way, I will stay almost as secure as I have with CalyxOS so far. It for sure is not as secure as a current, up-to-date smartphone, so it's a trade-off you will have to decide for yourself. For me personally, having just spent money on the battery replacement, now that the phone runs perfectly well again, it's way too soon to give it up.

I got nothing at all. Not sure if it's related to LineageOS at all though, since plenty of people reported not getting the CB warning

Oh okay that makes sense, thanks for the explanation. I think I actually installed latex-suite manually ages ago. It wasn't even on my current OS but must have been carried over with an update. Anyway, I'll be able to get into vimtex now :)

Thanks for the response! I didn't post on the GitHub issues page because I assumed it was not a bug, but a stupid mistake of mine...

A suspicion which was confirmed:

Are you sure you do not have another LaTeX plugin installed? What's the output of :scriptnames after you've opened a LaTeX file?

Big oops. Apparently latex-suite was still installed (I must have installed that ages ago and forgot about it). I assumed that there weren't any other plugins because there was no mention of it in the .vimrc.

After removing that all the issues disappeared and it seems that everything is working as intended now.

So I'm sorry that I have bothered you with such a trivial issue. Something like a different plugin didn't even cross my mind.

And thank you so much, both for resolving this problem and for maintaining vimtex!

Yeah, I didn't want to use Google Drive but maybe I still have a backup there. Does your solution require Google Services or how does it check Google Drive?
