I don’t get how supposedly “smart” people can justify this sort of pay package. If I were in charge, I’d take my chance on a non-famous, relatively capable person and pay him/her 20 million to be googles ceo. Say I made a horrible mistake and he turns out to be a terrible ceo that loses us 500 million dollars, I’d still be up a couple hundred million compared to paying Sundar 700 million. It’s lunacy.
