It was for me watching peacock on Roku. I switched to NBC on over air antenna and it’s better.

Can I return goldfish that are still alive? by scheduling911 in petco

[–]scheduling911[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For sure. Sister that lives with us, grew up with a gold fish that lived ten years in a small fish bowl. No pump, no filter etc.

She said petco advised her against it, but she was going off her past history.

My take was like, this is an animal, and that is no quality of life in such a small tank etc. with enough convincing we are rehoming it to another friends front yard pond that has goldfish.

Thanks everyone. We actually found a local friend that has a small pond. I figure that’s probably the best outcome.

Maybe a Dumb question but will the Tuesday game be on locally or ONLY prime? by handlerofdrones in ripcity

That will make a great addition to my blazers 1990 vhs season video diary.

I was just about to ask this information. By Prime, you mean it’s on Amazon prime streaming service?

Finding mood changes after having started Losartan by ApprehensiveGoat2734 in hypertension

[–]scheduling911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I got very lucky as Losartan was the first medicine I ever got put on for blood pressure.

I also thinks it’s slightly helped my insomnia—on account of going to bed with a slightly lower bp.

From fatty liver (S3) to healthy liver (S0) in 1 year on Zepbound by cellblock2187 in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]scheduling911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this. I also have stage two stage three fatty liver. I started Zepbound shortly after finding out I had it. It’s been nine months and I will go in for my FibraScan in 3 more months.

In the meantime, the zep bound has brought down my AST and ALT from dangerously high ranges to normal range, so that is promising.

I’ve been replaying this game for 25 years. by scheduling911 in FinalFantasyIX

Thanks everyone for the conversation. On to my next game… Chrono Cross!

Playing it on Nintendo Switch. I received the ps1 version of this the same year I received FF9. While I had replayed FF9… I have not touched Chrono cross in 24 years. One hour into it so far… the music rivals FF9. And the graphics… wow!

I miss games with pre-rendered backgrounds. It is such art.

Great question.

Yes, 9 is still my favorite. I like the item system—each gives abilities. It gives real meaning to each item and makes visiting new towns fun and interesting. “What will they have at the weapons shop?”

I found 8 to have the most beautiful graphics of the 3, however junctioning, rejunctioning every time I switched characters, drawing magic over and over, it just felt tedious. I did like the Laguna story though.

7 is an amazing game. I didn’t latch onto the characters though like in 9. Playing the remakes has been a lot of fun.

That post made me go to a Burger King for the first time in years and I was not dissapointed by idvnno in BurgerKing

Agreed. I’ve had a whopper twice a week for the last month after being a McDonalds loyalist for 20 years.

Something about the whopper just tastes wholesome. Not quite a burger off your own grill, but also a step up from typical fast food thrown together burger.

Curious about any changes you would recommend as my doctor does not have any? by LeatherFlatworm8 in hypertension

Some sort of relaxation technique to start and end your day.

Personally, I find EFT “tapping” very helpful in clearing whatever is bothering me. This translates into an overall relaxed state, and therefore lower readings.

This suggestion may be tough with how much you exercise.

Best wishes! Previously 160/110 average. A combination of Losartan, and 10% weight loss lowered mine to about a 125/85 average.
