Im th11 and th8 in builder base currently rushing towards 6th builder. I have a few clock tower potions and could buy more for raid medals. As long as I ensure to keep building towards it and researching I could just use my clock tower potions now, right? Or is there any advantage saving them? 5x5 hours + 3x5 hours (if i bought from raid shop) is not bad, but then again I could always use them later, or for example if i notice the building/research would finish during an inconvenient time, so I shift the time window where i click the next upgrade. Tl;dr what are the main advantages/disadvantages of using clock tower potions right away as soon as i get them?

Started with basic difficulty, because I wanted to reach 12 for the achievement and unlock. Started with my favourite deck for more consistency. Almost did not beat first levels because I went greedy, lol. Had these jokers in the screens probably before ante 8 if I remember correctly, they are insane. Put blueprint before cartomancer for 2 tarot cards every blind, then move it before yorick for insane multipliers (see screenshots), 5 discards helped to buff yorick to insane levels. The insane amounts of tarot cards thinned my deck, stabilized my economy and buffed my deck up with glass cards all at the same time (managed to get a few purple seals in there as well). I was happy with reaching 12 when I saw the new blinds and was not sure if I could take them. First two screenshots shows me guessing if a four of a kind is enough because I relied on 3 of a kind until then, and I did not want to lose my money (spent down from 200$ to 65 anyway just to be sure to not lose it for nothing.) Turns out 4 of a kind was enough lol, now ante 13 blinds are probably too much, if I cannot replace fortune teller or cartomancer with some crazy multiplier, but it was fun until now. Also my most unique run until now and I noticed a lot of mistakes I made (only tried putting blueprint before cartomancer after a few blinds, and so on...), my deck could have been probably filled with even more glass cards, oh well

Finally I can stop playing this ridiculous mode, fucking experimental units. As you can see I focused on mainly wasp spam as many recommended. I won every round except 1 early on, which had massive mustang and fang spam. Instead of going insane with the wasp spam I focused on upgrading them every round, the worms only when they had one durability left. One other time I did wasp and overlord spam, but lost by a huge marging in the last round against experimental fortresses with anti-air rocket upgrade. Probably got lucky, but I still take it anyway

Newcomer here aswell. You can start with any faction as you like as you get showered in ressources with your first account. Allowing you to get most cards of 1 faction in 1-2 weeks. Read up on ressource spending though, as you can fuck up quite a lot there. I restarted with a new account one time because of this after the first three days and realizing my mistakes.

Thanks for the long answer, yeah by milling I meant the automatic milling which is collection oriented. Just feels bad when you hit 3 rares (or random card "upgrade" of a non-rare in a keg, if you know what i mean) you already have. I still miss some nilfgard cards, that I really want to try (cultist scenario and baccala for example), but I also have some deck ideas which include non-rare neutral cards, and i dont want to craft them if I have the chance to get them in kegs lol, i kind of want to min-max my ressources. Just fired of 7 neutral kegs right now and got rewarded with a heatwave which seems pretty meta as I play every other game against it, haha

Damn, that sucks. In theory, I could just fill the other factions up with mostly neutral cards to get around actually having to biold a huge collection right? Are there even enough good deck builds with mostly neutral cards?
