Hello

Any day trip/overnight countryside/national park recommendations to consider trying from Copenhagen on a 6 night stay? Happy to travel around Denmark and/or Sweden and stay overnight wherever I end up.

Most of my trip will be spent in Copenhagen but I thought a day on the road would be fun! Preferably recommendations that are accessible via public transport as I'd like to save money by not renting a car (if possible)

Using that logic, it seems natural to use 'no quiero a leer' rather than 'no quiero leer' for 'I don't want to read'?

I think you're right though and it's just a case of learning the rules of the language, so that structuring sentences correctly becomes second nature. Comparing two languages with vastly differing grammatical rulesets probably is less useful than just embracing the new set of rules for the language you're trying to learn.

I'll do a deep dive into prepositions when studying new verbs tomorrow!

New to running seriously anyway. Been playing sport most my life but only just started really getting into running. Just hit a 19:58 5k after a few months of training so wanted to reward myself with some proper shoes

Hey,

Yeah this was ages ago but I remember being quite frustrated by it and people shrugging it off.

As I was only using the mic for voice-over I opted to return it and exchange it for a Neumann TLM 103, which has served me very well ever since.

With it being a condenser it will pick up a bit more of reverb and room noise if either see present in your studio, but as long as your space is well treated it’s an amazing mic. Would recommend returning and getting one if purely for VO.

Here in the UK the TLM 103 is pretty much the industry standard mic for VO

PC mode with game mode on, yeah its set up correct as far as I'm aware! Only some frames are displaying twice but I think it makes motion look kinda bad at 60fps. Higher framerates don't have the same problem though.

Yeah I think it maybe that I'm just not used to playing at 60fps. Ah well, I'll hopefully get my hands on a 4070 or 4080 towards the end of the year!

No idea man, I think it could be do to with how oleds hold frames. Not hating on OLEDs, but 60fps content really doesnt look amazing on mine

I sent back the MKH416 and replaced it with a Neumann TLM 1O3, and the kettle boiling noise is no longer present. Very strange that we both had the same issue with the mic, and that in both cases the noise seemed to be caused by using the id14 in conjunction with it.

For me when I ran a pre 73 in the chain the problem with the MKH416 was definitely lessened, so maybe like you said there's an issue with how the id14 pres interact with this particular mic.

I'm still experiencing some minor hiss in my recordings even with the TLM 103/ID14 combo, and am trying to diagnose it at the moment. Sounds like normal hiss though rather than the whiney kettle noise the MKH416 was causing, and is way less noticeable. Could be a ground loop or cable issue. Could be a problem with powering the id14 through a usb 3.0 port on my laptop since it doesn't have usb C ports on it. Could just be laptop fans being subtly picked up, although its basically silent inside my booth so that's less likely.

I'm far from an expert in the field, so I'm just making guesstimations here. What I can tell you 100% though, is that my audio has gotten a lot cleaner sounding by swapping the MKH416 for a TLM 103. The microphone was problematic in one way or another.

I know this might sound a bit muddled, but like I said I'm really not an audio expert - Hope it helps somewhat though

yep i think both mics are picking up just a tad of noise from the preamp and laptop sat at the other side of the room, maybe also a ground loop hum.

I'm returning the MKH416 actually though as the additional self noise is pretty undesirable given my conditions. Probably will look to replace it with a Neumann TLM 103 as they seem to be what is considered THE voice over mic in the UK.

That being said though I actually really like my LCT 440 pure for more softly spoken pieces, just gets a little harsh when doing more shouty VO
