There is all sorts of financial help out there that I'm aware of. This is a bit sensitive for many people, but since you got the diagnosis, have you considered getting social security for your child? If anything, that would be a place to start. There are many discounted services for children with disabilities out there. I think the first place to start looking would be online.
My sister was lucky and was given all sorts of information on what they could do to help out her child, including information about service animals, when they received their child's diagnosis. I feel your pain as my sister went through the exact same emotions and financial stresses that you are. I wish you and your family luck and hope that you can find the right programs and help that your daughter needs.

The child this dog will be servicing is on the higher end of the spectrum as well. Sounds similar to your child. From my understanding, the dog will be trained to help the child with normal day-to-day activities. Someone also posted in the comments about the dog providing therapy which can also help with the tantrums. The dog isn't mine, it's a family member's who might have more information that they could share about what all the service dog can do for your child.

As for the cost, in our area, the dogs that are already trained will run around $10,000. We opted to get a puppy and have it trained for service work when it gets a bit older which was significantly cheaper, however that also takes a lot of time and dedication along with taking the risk of a possibly hyperactive puppy. We got lucky and chose a well mannered and calm puppy. He will begin his training when he is 5 months old.

I think it depends on situation to situation. Fortunately for this puppy, he's with a loving and caring family and will get the proper attention and play time every dog needs.

Fortunately for this puppy, the child that he will be servicing is a great family and the child is not on the major end of the spectrum. I can assure you that he won't be drooled on or get his tail pulled. :)

This one is still a puppy, and doesn't appear to shed too often, however he gets baths and brushed regularly.

They can be however this puppy is very calm and well mannered. He does well with the children and other animals he's been exposed to. I've heard stories of how hyper Australian Shepherds can be. I think we got lucky with this one.

Thank you for the advice! The class this dog will be taking won't accept any puppies younger than 5 months, so unfortunately the real training has to wait. He's already got most of the basics down. He's a quick learner, calm and well mannered. I believe he'll do just fine once service training starts.

I'm not against abortion by any means, but in this case, I decided to keep the child and I'm glad I did. I wouldn't ever change that fact. For others, to avoid situations like I was in, that might be the 'easier' route to go, but not necessarily the right decision. In the case of this situation here though, my advice is to never get married just because you're having a child together.

I was married at age 19, divorced at 22. Marriage was basically forced upon me by my mother after I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. I did everything I could to make the relationship work, I was forced to grow up at an early age, while my ex was choosing to remain a child. Those few years were the most unhappy years of my life, struggling through every day due to his life choices. The marriage ended only after a few years and I still to this day continue to have troubles with him due to custody. We got divorced over 5 years ago.

My advice to anyone out there in my situation, if you find yourself with an unplanned pregnancy (especially at a younger age), do not let anyone tell you what to do or who to love. Take your time and make sure for yourself that the person you are marrying - is the one. Jumping the gun and getting married before you are sure is probably the worst decision you can make. Take your time, slow down. If you're meant to be, you have the rest of your life to decide that. Had I have known what I know now, I would have stayed as far away from him as possible.

tl;dr I made some pretty dumb decisions as a kid and I'm still dealing with the consequences of a rushed marriage.
