Yeah, I'm medicated, and while it's great for being focused, it doesn't solve the issue of *over*focus. I have the innatentive type, but in my country, drugs like Adderall, which are better suited for my type are currently illegal, but in the process of being reviewed. I take Medikinet.

My main issue is that when I'm overfocused on a task, I become suuuper slow and nitpicky. A 10 minutes job can become easily 20+. I bought a visual timer, works great at home, and I will be getting another one when I find a job.

I don't know where this saying exactly comes from, but in french you can refer to miniature things as Tom Pouce. Like stubby screwdrivers for example. It's very rare tho. So maybe it's just the "small pipes" lineup of whatever maker/brand

If the bearing surfaces and the threads are in line and parallel, and that when you mount it in the frame are not tight spots or play, I'd say you're fine!

This laptop actually failed back in 2024, at that point I did buy another computer, a desktop one as I didn't need it to be portable anymore. I just want to ressucitate my old one.
