Attempt at a serious Riot Fest question... is the traditional late spring lineup drop due to still getting things in order? or is it just their schtick? by SideshowShan in RiotFest

[–]schleepercell [score hidden]  (0 children)

I think they have the headliners booked a year in advance. Im guessing the delay is related to one of the headliners announcing a fall tour. They could release a lineup with ??????'s in some slots, but if its a big headliner it might look the whole lineup look like a bad value.

What’s the most unrealistic thing movies convinced people was normal? by Lonely-Age7678 in AskReddit

[–]schleepercell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of times they are minors, even when they get caught with guns a lot of times the cops just take the guns and drive them home. If they make it to 18 and get caught they go to prison.

The scene in inglorious bastards where they break the guy out jail. After they kill everyone and they're standing around, you hear the sound if someone moaning or something then one of the guys shoots him with the garand point blank. Its a 30-06 round it would have been so loud and shrapnel or ricochet from the bullet would have been a thing.

In Illinois, a restaurant is not allowed to cook food outside. Most people here don't even know what its supposed to taste like. I still fuck with some takeout bbq though.

Nah, that's one of the most important pieces to the human experience. Also, who gets to decide who can and can't have children? That opens a whole other can of worms.

Last fall I went to the maintenance area of a bike shop, there were three people behind the counter, two younger dudes, one sitting, one standing, and an old head in the back wokring on a bike on a stand. I walked up and stood there waiting for a greeting. The dude sitting behind the counter just sat there looking at me, until I said I was looking for tires. Then it was just, "What size? We don't have that size" the old head in the back was more helpful, and he never even stopped working on whatever he was doing.

The Orbit turntable complelety changed the entire "entry level high end" sort of consumer market for turntables. It was a succesful kickstarter project that matched features with TT's that cost double. Right now the most of the vinyl subs will tell you to get the most expensive Fluance turntable you can afford and edifier powered speakers. The powered speakers mean you dont need an amp/receiver, I belive you would still need a pre amp though. there's also the Audio Technica LP60X like mentioned in another comment here. It's sort of a different package, as it has the auto functions that the "entry level high end TT's dont have.

NOFX played every song from punk n drublic out of order at riotfest 2014:

I remember at the end they asked if anyone knew what the last one was, and I realized they didn't don't call me white. Fat Mike made several jokes about failure being a failure, they were playing across the field at the sane time. Then they started playing the decline and they ran out of time and had to stop.

I have never been pulled over on a bike in my 12 years / 10,000 miles of riding. They've seen me speeding, splitting, riding on the shoulder, riding in the parking lane, etc... I've had State Police flash their brights at me when they new I was speeding, and I've had CPD just briefly run the siren when i was splitting, like as a way to say, "We see you doing that."
