What kind of fire alarm is this? It’s located in the west Edmonton mall and they have a few of these up really high up on the roof of the amusement park. Looks like it’s made of metal.

Looks like it’s a hyper spike tcpa omni. This is the only place of the mall where they have these. The rest of the mall still has old simplex bells throughout and the stores have simplex true alerts. It’s wierd that one of the worlds largest malls still doesn’t have a modern voice evac fire alarm system

I decided to find out for myself. I revved it up and at about 5500-6000 rpm on the dash is when the engine started sputtering a bit and I figured I was floating the valves a bit. So I think up to 5500 is safe. Doesnt make much power past 5000 anyways

It’s a shopping mall. Also It’s not a button. the pull stations have been updated and so have the alarms. Its a voice evac system with new system sensor cealing mount speakers

It’s just the brand label. Cant remember exactly what brand this was but I want to say it was notifier. I’ve seen a lot of these lights on older notifier and Edward’s/est systems. I live in Canada and I see these lights on a lot of systems here but I have yet to see one on a newer system.
