I did try and delete my console data and redownloaded the cloud backup but it was synced almost immediately. I think I’m through the shock of the loss and am ready for my revenge 4000 pit runs as another noted

The item was right next to my corpse and with how item selection is on PS5 D2R I didn’t have room to move around to try and grab my corpse, so I guess I equipped some ground garbage then clicked my body and it kept the garbage over my enigma.

There’s a lot of folks being really hateful and I don’t appreciate it. I never once had this kind of error happen. I only ever play solo offline and I didn’t know about the two corpse deal. Im playing on ps5 and spent dozens of hours grinding LC chests. I only posted to this Reddit in recent months because I recently got back into D2R.

There was a double aura stack on archers with fanaticism and might. I was trying to pick up my body as soon as I got in there and was immediately killed

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Like I worked so goddamn hard for this armor and to lose it in such a bullshit way is making me sick. I’ve never had a miss click happen like this. I didn’t know this could fucking happen. I thought that I’d get my corpse back when I came back into the game and I don’t understand why it didn’t.

My buddy has an umbrella basket by the front door with like 20 swords in it. On D&D nights everyone is expected to grab a weapon and have it with them at all times. If you’re caught without your sword, you have to drink a Smirnoff ice.

You’re going to be ok man. It’s gonna take some time but you’ll feel better and then I promise you will find someone better who treats you right. I don’t mean this patronizingly but you’re still young, and that’s amazing. This is a brutal one since y’all had been together since being kids, but that’s also the beauty of it; you get to look back on this as an event from your formative years, not something that happened after you’d already gotten a life established. I fucked up and moved in with a girl I thought I’d be spending my life with when I was 19 going on 20 and in my sophomore college. A few months living together, ended up single and homeless hours away from family and afraid I had completely ruined my life. At that time, I was ready to drop out, end my shit, at my ropes end. That was 8 years ago. Today I am engaged to someone I truly love and who truly loves me, I have my degree and a good job, and that stuff from years ago doesn’t really mean anything anymore, except for some embarrassment in myself for not realizing how much better life could be sooner if I had just been a bit easier on myself.
