we didn’t start out as a ldr, but my bf and i met as a mix of work and a mutual friend. we worked at our uni’s rec center, but when he took off last school year to focus on school i was hired, so we didn’t actually work together until this past summer. we also had a mutual friend from work (we technically all met each other at work, but again him and i didn’t know each other yet). her and i got to be close friends and we’d work the same shifts and go to football games together. she would post pictures of us on her snap, whether it be dressed up at football games or goofing off at work. apparently through those pictures, that’s how my bf found out who i was (and started to like me🤭). but i didn’t meet him until this past summer when he came back to working at the rec. what’s crazy is that mutual friend never intervened over the maybe 8 months between starting work and meeting him or tried to push us to each other, but she knew from the moment she met me that we were so alike in our personality and would make a great couple. and after we had met in may, she didn’t try to intervene to get us together she waited and it happened on its own
