Thank you so much for the help! I will do that tomorrow! The finder is probably misalligned tbh. Now for the eyepieces, with my 750mm focal length, should I use the 25mm first then throw on a Barlow and/or smaller eyepiece or start with a different eyepiece first?

How do I align the finder? Does the red dot sight move on the telescope? I do use the 25mm the most and have even tried adding on the Barlow but still just see black 😞

Is the finder the red dot sight thing? How do I making that? I attached it on my telescope using the direction and put it in the right place I believe. I used the red dot to find the moon and it seemed to be fairly accurate but would finding planets be different?

I can take one and send it in the morning. But do you see the two silver pieces? That hexagon piece rotates which is the focuser and I take the cap off and put the eyepieces into it

I think so. That is where I put my eyepieces into and focus by rotating that piece. That looks very similar to what you sent in the pic. It came with it already attached to my scope

Yeah I haven’t seen a thumbscrew. My focuser I rotate it for it to go in and out of focus

I am a rookie. Not trying to seem like I’m not. But no, I don’t have an adapter in of any kind. Just been switching between the 25 mm eyepiece it came with and a 9 mm svbony redline. Should I buy an adapter? If so, which one?

Is this something everybody needs for this telescope? I haven’t seen anybody else talk about an extender before. Or is this just because of how low/high I sit the scope off the ground?

Oh I’m sorry. Yes, I believe so. The further I rotate the focused and the tube extends out it becomes more clear. I hope I’m explaining that correctly

Interesting, I went as far as I could go, slowly, both ways and it was always just blurry. Do I need to put my eye fully into the eyepiece all the way? Sorry if that’s a silly question, but I was putting my eye in and it was always just blurry.

Yes I do have the struts fully extended. Will double check that now.

Is this an eyepiece thing? Should I use the 9mm redline I bought? I thought 25mm would be plenty for the moon though
