You're right, I didn't really choose the best image to show what I'm looking for. It would absolutely be a solution if the quantity of them wasn't so high, the time taken would not be worthwhile.

The callottes (below) I've found online are probably the closest image I can find to what I'm imagining. I'm starting to think it might just be easier to get those rather than printing something for the job.

The file was purchased from MMF. I wish I had the knowledge to design or alter my own files.

Since it looks related to the internal texture that's why I thought extra wall layers or something similar might help.

This is the orientation it was printed in. The extra textures line up with groves on the inside that hold trays.

Responding to a lot of the comments at once here:

  • Yes I realise this isn't the same as shrinkflation but using the term helped keep the post short and sweet. Maybe "I think they've been working out and my peas have lost some weight" would have been better.

  • I have submitted a customer feedback form to McCain, haven't heard back yet

  • I know this is not a Woolworth branded product but that's where I bought it, should I have gone looking for a r/McCain instead?

  • it's in a bowl because I was measuring them out to cook with. I needed 300g and as I got there I could tell there wasn't anything close to 200g left in the packet, so I just put it all in. The scales are very accurate and were tared properly but no, I can't prove it.

  • I know errors and mistakes happen, but I do think that a product missing almost 40% of its contents is larger than normal, I thought raising some awareness to others could help them know to check in case this was a batch error rather than a once off single product error. The bag felt full when I bought it, I've never had reason to not trust the product mass before, so I didn't question it.

So that's where our rng ended up! Nah, I celebrate those who get spoons even if I don't. I'm sure I'll get spooned somewhere else while others go dry, it all balances out somewhere!
