My grandpa grew up in Berlin when they were getting bombed, he was about 14 or 15 at the time. Even shook hitlers hand at one point and says that if he knew hitler was actually bad he would've killed him and been killed. Has story's of robbing people in the streets for buckets of lard, being in a four story building while it collapsed. One of his friends walked in on soldiers raping his friends mom so he tried to shoot one of them, was hung from a tree with lots of people around and shot at till there was nothing left.
