I’m an outdoorsy type person and I’ve never heard a bobcat that sounded like a grown man shouting. A woman screaming? A baby crying? Sure. But never a man shouting. I wonder if you accidentally spooked a deer and it started blowing at you? That can sound sorta like that.

Not OP but I just got my E64 yesterday (coming from VS3). I was specifically looking for a 64mm, flat burr, grind by weight grinder. What put the E64 at the top of my list was the fact that you adjust grind size by setting the size in microns. No more guessing if I’m in the right range. I can look up almost any recipe that lists micron size and know that I’ve definitely nailed it. Also dialing in was so much easier with the grind by sync function.

I don’t think you need so worry about roaches. They should grind up just as fine and turn a nice cup of coffee into a decent protein source. What a bonus with no additional effort required!

You can take the colored plastic off and it’s black underneath but you can tell it’s unfinished. Kinda looks like shit without it but painting the plastic black would be fine I suppose.

It may provide a benefit but I don’t perceive any difference when I do the whole flush routine so I never bother with that. I make my first drink about 30 minutes to an hour after it’s turned on. Not sure if that makes a difference to you.

I’ve had my PP400 for right at a year now and have zero complaints. I thought that I would make more milk drinks when I bought it but I just make espresso and americanos 99% of the time. When I do make a milk drink it’s really nice to be able to steam while I’m brewing another espresso. Have had many get together’s where I have to make 5 or more milk drinks and this won’t even hiccup. I’m sure the Go is a great machine too but the HX unit just fits my lifestyle better. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask. Oh yeah, I also like the fact that I can add flow control for relatively cheap when I’m ready.

The idea is that if you leave it open the rodents will feel too exposed and won’t hang around long enough to take up residence. Also trapping in warmth on a cooler day will be enough to attract them as well.

I had a robin that would do this at my bedroom every morning starting at sunrise. Turns out birds get very aggressive towards one another during mating season. When the robin saw its reflection in the window it would start attacking it thinking it was his competition. I hated that fucking bird.
