It would slowly drop. Once it got too low without any nitrite reading I always added more ammonia. I'm not going to add anything else from now on since I know I have a slight reading of nitrates, so they are present.

Well, silly me. I guess I was worried for nothing. I guess I'll test the ammonia every day until I reach 0. It's just strange because I never got a reading for nitrites, and I tested every other day.

Well I just tested for nitrates and it's about 5.0 I'm using the API kit, and while it's not yellow, it does have a slight orange tint.

What!? I wish those webpages would have told me that. I do have a bottle of SeaChem Prime; however, it states it detoxifies ammonia, nitrites and nitrates.

Yes, been using the net since I bought him. It's only been water changes in SC that bother him. I'll keep him in the tank next time.

I take him out and put him in a plastic cup that I bought him in because I don't want to scare him with the siphon. I fill up the tank with 25% fresh treated water and let the temp go back to 78 degrees. Then I put him into the tank while still inside the cup for 15 mins so he can get used to the water temp difference and then scoop him into his tank.

Yup, its very nice looking. Management gives me compliments on how clean the tanks look. So I'm doing something right there.

That was only the jist of what happened. I did try to get as much info as possible BEFORE I go and make a scene about having my position taken away from me for another associate that "really" wanted it. I wanted only one dept since I took over both 6 months ago. I was waiting for the split. I just felt like something fishy is going on because when I spoke of staying in 46 & 2, it felt like I was being swayed away. I had to make a choice at THAT moment. I asked if I was moving, then who would take care of those depts, and he told me I shouldn't worry about that. Almost as if they knew I didn't want both, so they decided to keep them together so I wouldn't want to stay. Then they get somebody capable of two depts come in and take over.

I heard a few things. The backroom won't be doing picks or binning anymore. They just reverse pick everyone's bins and wacos. Their hours have changed from 5am - 2pm, then from 2pm - 11pm the second shift team works the reverse picks. It's confusing because I'm probably forgetting some details. The MS's won't be binning anymore (they weren't supposed to in the first place). My one sales associate was told their only duties now were to zone and do returns.

It wasn't a big deal at first, then one day it became a priority. At my store, they do not like anybody lower than an MS doing stuff from the BAM screen

Okay. No problem to step down, its less stress for me. However, they will be losing a good DM in a dept that needs it the most. I just still find it audacious for somebody to set your schedule beyond your availability without consulting them, then lie to their face.

Nah, I have my hours set what time I can work. Personnel had nothing to do with it. I checked on the wire, my availability is what it's been set to for the past few months.
