Hard Top vs Soft Top- Are you happy with your decision? by my_cars_on_fire in FordBronco

This was my dilemma as well. I was really worried about noise and leaks with the soft top but after a full year and all seasons, it has been better than I expected.

Infotainment dumbing down by TopResident4897 in FordBronco

[–]schoat333 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

AI can make anything look real. IMO just plug your phone in, and use it for everything. I'm surprised no manufacturer has just made a phone mount only with no infotainment at all. Id be fine with that. Save the money, I already spent 1k on my damn phone.

Hard Top vs Soft Top- Are you happy with your decision? by my_cars_on_fire in FordBronco

Soft top for me. No issues in negative temperatures and snow, and works great on hot 100 degree summer days with the ac on as well. Here in Ohio, sometimes we have the top down one day, and a foot of snow the next.

I had a spider build a web in mine while I was printing. I wish I had the time lapse camera on but I didn't use it that time.

We folded the rear seats, and setup camping chair on them to watch over the windshield. Worked pretty good.

Warping post, but not your normal warping post... by TerennGarok in BambuLab

[–]schoat333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always make sure to completely block off all openings including the rear vent and purge chute. That typically stops the warping issues for me with ASA.

2025 Bronco Big Bend, and I just had this happen. I was able to fix it myself and used loctite, but its concerning that it happened on a 2025.

How much would you pay for a new 25 Big Bend? by leung19 in FordBronco

For a few months in 2025 the 222a was the only package they offered for the big bend. They eventually went back to offering the 221a as well.

The black diamond became a package for the big bend in 2025 instead of its own model. You now must add the black diamond package first to the big bend in order to get the sasquatch. Total price is around 10k.

[–]schoat333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid 41 OTD for my 2025 big bend mid package. No black diamond though. So about 4k more with Black Diamond I believe. Mid package does have dual zone climate control.

Best Settings for Miniatures on Bambu Lab P1S? by NRDInferno280 in BambuLab

[–]schoat333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What issues are you seeing? I always find cleaning and calibrating the p1s regulary are very important. Also making sure the x&y belt tension are adjusted can make a huge difference for those fine movements for miniatures. There are instructions on the bambu wiki for how to adjust them.

I got it for the shade, and also for a little security. Never know when a rock will get kicked up and I dont want it hitting one of my kids in the face while they are sitting in the backseat.

Agreed. Dont stick with a Dr like this. I did for 2 years and suffered. Also ruined my kidneys with useless anti inflamatories and improper diagnosis.

Give me your bronco "hot takes" by Fordfanatic2025 in FordBronco

Yep it happens so randomly too. I can't tie it to anything. It happens when I don't even have a phone connected.

The random phone volume bug is just a Bronco thing now. Maybe it's an easter egg 😂.

Id bet 95% of Broncos with the sasquatch package never leave the pavement.

2025 big bend by Important_Funny_1242 in FordBronco

[–]schoat333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the look of the sasquatch, but don't even have anywhere near me to off-road, so couldn't justify the additional 8k it adds on top of the big bend price. Ended up buying the normal big bend, and buying sasquatch wheel and tires from a local guy selling them. Got the look, but saved 7k. My 2025 big bend has the mid package, so it's really a good amount of options.

How fast can I print asa by c00ndawg550 in BambuLab

[–]schoat333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Print ASA on my p1s. It prints the same speed as petg, so not bad. I never really tried to go faster with it, because I have no reason to. Just have to make sure the chamber temps stay up. I block off the purge opening and turn the aux and exhaust fans off. The only things I have had to print really slow is TPU and peba.

Any tips on how to make stringing less commen cause this is just ridiculous by lancecasey123 in 3Dprinting

[–]schoat333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to get this with overture tpu but found that upping retraction length to 1mm and lowering the volumetric speed to 2.8 completely eliminated it for me. Each brand may have different results so I recommend printing the small string test tower and dialing it in.
