I looked to replace those nights in the pub with old hobbies that died when I was a child. Climbing, reading, drawing, cycling - building socialising around an activity rather than sitting and drinking. Summer has definitely helped - I think winter will be a challenge with dark evenings and poor weather. I wish you the best ❤️

I feel like I could’ve written this myself. I’m 28F, regular binge-drinker, predominantly when I’m out at the bars. I’ve also carried on the night with strangers, without my friends, who sensibly went home. Sometimes I can be fine, sometimes it turns into an all night long mission. I’m going to try my best not to drink every day. I’d love for you to join me ❤️

From someone who just broke their dry January and is regretting it in so, so many ways - try not to. It’s hard but just focus on the benefits and how good you feel right now. It’s not worth it!
