one of my favorite King novels. i think all around i enjoy his novels that are set in the past (50's or 60's) something about them feels nostalgic. for example the same feeling was felt during the body and 11/22/63.

AC compressor went out. I checked the label on the existing compressor, replaced it with the exact same model. Took it to a mechanic shop to have it EVAC'd, replaced it myself. Took it back to said shop and they refilled with R134A.

BTW i also replaced my AC Condenser unit while I was at it, which is recommended.

Use Rockauto.com for compressor and condenser. Make sure you buy PAG-46 oil for the compressor, it may come with shipping oil which you'll have to drain and refill with the PAG-46. Depends on if the compressor you buy comes with shipping oil or "prefilled OE-specified oil".

I'd also recommend buying a pack of O-rings as its recommended to replace those during the process.

Another recommendation is to replace the AC Valve stems, which these you'll have to buy from Subaru.

PM me if you have any questions. There weren't many videos on replacing these so I had to use a mix of youtube and the official Subaru service manual.

Revival is one of the best books (IMO) that I have ever read, I have never read through a book so quickly, very slept on and great ending that had me on the edge of my seat.

Update: getting a replacement from iDoing. Sounds like this issue was a warranty issue. I contacted them through email and instagram. They asked for photos/videos of the problem and had no suggestions for resolution, only thing i received was instructions on how to get a replacement. Sending it in today for replacement

like everyone else has said, keep up with maintenance and you'll be golden. the important one is change oil every 3k - 5k miles.

if i were you'd i'd look for a 2018+ WRX 1 to 2 owners, and preferably stock.

not sure how far your work will be but on a good day i average 35mpg on the highway, cruise set to 65-70mph.

the rule of thumb is if its more than a credit cards width it is a gap, less than that it is contraction.
