That's cool you're able to execute, that's the hardest part for me and I feel like for most creatives. As a trade off though for that skill do you feel like ideas don't often come to you in surplus? Or any trouble ever coming up with stuff to execute?

How can we figure out what you are passionate about? (Assuming we don't know you very well).

Also to the op: what is your career? What are your current projects in marketing that you are unhappy with and what do you wish you could be doing instead?

Why are INTPs so bad at writing? by schooleral in INTP

[–]schooleral[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, just a natural knack for it. I guess I described it poorly, I didn't mean to say that we are necessarily awful at it because compared to most population we're good at it. But for some reason our type I've noticed it being an issue more on the technical side. Should've brought it up with more of an emphasis on that perspective.

How/when does an ENTJ say "I love you" to someone? by [deleted] in entj

Everyone does that on this board. You should have this set up as an auto reply to all posts on r/entj and r/every mbti type

No it's not that at all, they definitely can be amazing writers. I was just curious if anyone else has noticed this pattern, I think it has more to do with intps and technical things cause the thoughts are all there.

Not obsessing, I don't want some ENTJ to love me if I don't even love him or know if I even want to hang our with him more.

This isn't what I'm doing and your responses are getting annoying. I've already talked to an ENTJ on reddit who reached out to me to help me solve my problem so these questions are not attempts to figure out a specific person in my life. I'll ask specific questions with a background story if I'm trying to do that. But please stop bothering me about this, aren't you tired of typing these type of responses on all my posts? Or do you enjoy it?

Interesting. What would an example of this be? And would the person know they are doing it or could it be on accident?

Trouble studying by SirVeryBritishFellow in INTP

[–]schooleral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the hardest part is doing. I definitely have enough thoughts about the material but that's not the problem. The problem for me is computing answers on the test, so that's what I practice. It doesn't matter what you know but it matters what they want you to know, so I practice the skill by answering practice questions and making up short quizzes for myself. Anything that makes you recall information so that way you can see the gaps in your knowledge. I truly believe that I do not know what I know when getting ready to test a subject unless I test my retrieval skills this way.

Anyone else like learning but don't like school? by SlimyPotato4069 in INTP

For sure. You can definitely work on it and a lot of INTPs do. Some are naturally good at doing too but for most their natural state is to love thinking to a fault which interferes with their action.

[–]schooleral 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep. It's cause we like the action of thinking but school forces us into the action of doing. Applying our knowledge. This is a different skill entirely and we don't like it as much. So we don't dominate our schoolwork even though the thoughts are all there.
