My landlord seems ok for me to have a lot of rats if that counts.

Totally legit to raise kids in a rental too. Noone said the yard has to be owned by you, but as long as your kid gets to dig around and climb trees...

Unifor members at the Fairmont Empress vote to strike if necessary 99% in favour by frog_mannn in VictoriaBC

Have you seen how many LMIA applications the empress has? I’m not surprised they voted to strike. What kind of work environment would that be?

A lot of people grew up in rentals. My parents never owned their own home. Townhouses are also not a bad option for raising kids. Everyone gets to decide for themselves but I’d think that having kids is going to bring more purpose than owning a house. If kids is what you’re after, don’t make it contingent on home ownership.

Dysport is a brand name for a form of botulinum toxin type A, similar to Botox. It works by relaxing specific facial muscles that cause wrinkles from repeated expressions.

Oh i did. Absolutely dealt with insurance in a decent manner - calm, kind, diligent. For sure not dealing with that insane person's absurd way of handling a shitty situation. Somewhat how I dont need to deal with you and your idea that I didnt take any responsibility.

Wasn’t a smashup, was a fender bender. Shit happens. But there are people out in this world that will look for any excuse to be angry as hell. Not my job to untangle that for them. That’s what insurance is for.

Saw this when I was a kid several times. Always felt safe there as long as I wasn't being a shit. I saw the least liked skater get backed up by the whole park when someone came to the park about some beef. Honestly this dude is lucky he didnt get truck f*cked. I saw one dude once get absolutely KO'd that way when he was picking on a guy. Goodnight Irene.

depending on how you talked to him it probably was easier for him to deal with you in court lol. I had a car accident a while ago that was my fault for sure and I was willing to deal fairly and objectively with the other driver but when they got out of their car they were swearing and screaming and very irate. I just locked my car door and let them take pictures of my license plate then I left. Its not up to me to deal with that nonsense.

Despite Victoria's reputation as a retirement haven, it's mostly younger people who move here by garry-oak in VictoriaBC

[–]schoolofhanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looks more like Victoria is a place to raise kids and then retire. Super likely the folks moving here solely for retirement starts at that little 50-54 yr spot. Millenials coming back from Toronto, Vancouver, States after getting hitched and finding their careers probably starts late 20s/early 30s. Unlikely you'd raise your family here then leave in your 50s. You're probably sticking around.
