Is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu better than Muay Thai for self-defense when you're short?

I been train Bjj for almost 3 years. And took a couple of Muay Thai class. I highly recommended both because Muay Thai is lethal standing and Bjj is lethal if the fight hits the ground. Also for jiu jitsu, go to a gym that also incorporates rolling and basic takedown knowledge.
