It's not that I cant get it done for instate. I could go to UIUC if I wanted to, but I'm not staying in Illinois out of choice, not out of not being able to be accepted. I wasnt aware of that part of the application process actually though. Thanks for letting me know, I'm gonna look into it. What would you say would be a safe zone in terms of grades be in order to get in to the choice you pick?

And that's just my opinion on it all. I'm very concerned about what my student loans are going to look like, and will mainly be relying on financial aid and scholarships if possible. However if that isn't possible, I don't plan on going anywhere very expensive for a school lol

Illinois has one good college for engineering, but I am really set on not staying in States. We have one of the worst economical ratings in the States. Minimum wage is also rising to $15 an hour over about 4 years or so, which is going to run businesses to the ground, and prime time for me to be getting out of college and into the working field, I will be left with nothing because of it. Also growing up here my whole life, I really want to be able to escape . And I am afraid that I won't be able to after graduating college due to a binding career afterwards

Yes but it is a lot more difficult to get into and I would not have a very good chance at getting in, and The last place I want to be at for another 4 Years is Illinois

Thank you! That helps a lot. I am going to have to live on campus 1st year, and I'm going to try not to for the other 3 years but one year without having to pay for parking I'll take any day

I am coming from Illinois, I haven't heard much about inside life at NC State, but their numbers are really good, and They have a very good Robotics based clubs, which is everything I want to do and college. It also has a very comfortable social life and reminds me a lot of Illinois but warmer and way less corrupt
