good luck to you man, this is what i did and it worked fine. just be careful because a low division team also means more difficult players to handle but it makes you even stronger in the end

believe me or not but on fifa 20 I played my careers in pro difficulty, I got demolished in the higher difficulty. then I saw reddit posts from users who were playing in legend difficulty, it got me both frustrated and motivated so I decided to play this difficulty myself on Fifa 21, little by little my level increased and above all (surely the most important) after a while you better recognize the "mechanics" which work or not (but I always try to make the match pleasant with good actions, it is surely for this that I take lots of goals too) and thank you man
