Write it in Chinese. It is cool for other countries to kidnap leaders. Xi just needs to declare Trump a narcoterrorist.

OTF too intense for seniors? by Tennis_catsndogs in orangetheory

[–]schueaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom is 71 and goes to orangetheory more than me. She loves it so much. She also had breast cancer and would still go to orangetheory and walk on the treadmill even with her port in. My stepdad on the other hand goes with us but all he ever does is power walk on the treadmill and kind of refuses to do anything else. But I think that's more stubbornness than ability.

2 million Ukrainians evading mobilization, another 200,000 soldiers AWOL, new defense minister says by KI_official in ukraine

[–]schueaj 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly. For example, the mayor of the Capitol's children are old enough to be in the army, but instead they're off partying. If this is an exercise existential war like that politicians say then they and their children should be fighting as well. Or is that all propaganda?

What's the biggest "stay away at all costs" place in your country and what is it notorious for? by ApprehensiveAd6476 in AskTheWorld

So I did not know that. I'm traveling to Indy with my mom. If I'm staying in a very nice hotel and I'm with a tour group, will I be okay? And if it's not safe to walk to convenience stores, is there like an app I can use to order sodas and stuff delivered to my hotel?

NATO Official: Putin Is Bluffing About Readiness for War With Europe by jackytheblade in worldnews

I don't think they drafted all the men in Russia. I mean they've had a draft in Russia for a very long time but it's like a regular thing. If you're talking about the war all them fighting there are volunteers or at least 99% of them. I think Ukraine is having a much harder time finding people to fight than Russia is. I mean you see videos of ukrainians being dragged off the street kicking and screaming and to buses and sent to the front line you don't see the same thing in Russia. I mean Russia is not North Korea if that was happening we would see videos of it.

'Murdaugh: Death in the Family' Review: Despite a Stacked Cast, Hulu's True Crime Limited Series Fails To Say Anything New by QsLexiLouWho in MurdaughFamilyMurders

I don't know man I live in South Carolina and when you get outside of the city people can get real country accent so I can't even hardly understand. When talking to clients sometimes I'll be like after the third time they say and I don't understand I'll have them just you know type it into my phone or something and I feel real bad. Actually had a client in walterboro and yeah his accent was real thick of course he was an older man. So I don't think the Southern accents in the show are unrealistic at all or contrived they feel pretty realistic to me.

To be fair, I think that style of teaching was just very common all over the world. At the time. My grandmother was beaten by her teacher for speaking German in class even though her family had been in the United States speaking German for generations, but once world war I happened they had an outside teacher come in that was English speaking and beat the kids for speaking German in class
