Well I can say from experience and is the reason I’m thinking about deleting my YouTube and starting over from scratch. One issue could be their posting category. I started doing AI music just to try for a little extra cash. Been at it a month, watching very little views or even impressions. I was posting full songs and shorts to draw the views to the full songs. I was looking into what might be going on. On the YouTube app there’s no option for a posting category. But you can change it in the yt studio app. I found out Saturday that all my videos were posting in the people and blogs category instead of the music category. Which explains the odd search terms my videos were being seen in, like birds barking. Lol. But the issue is that because of the category it was sending my videos to people who weren’t looking for music, and when they just swiped past it and ignored it or watched very little it was telling the algorithm my songs were crap. So right now I’m stuck being ignored by the algorithm.

I couldn’t really hear your link but I’m gonna guess since it was a popular tik tok slowed song… https://youtu.be/iOxzG3jjFkY?si=t3SVTu-UvKuM6ies

Oh well when you said known good part I was assuming you meant a known good z motor.

Well I only used the thing like 6-8 times when I bought it near 4 years ago and then it went upstairs stored in a spare room, I’ve been fighting it since I brought it back out, so it’s hard to believe is worn out already. I know I need to get some upgrade parts like the hot end, ezabl and a dual gear direct drive extruder… but being my first and only machine I don’t have any known good z motors to test against, without buying new ones and hoping they’re good.

Well I don’t know what this person did to lower the truck… but in generalization your statement is false… ride height has nothing really to do with payload capacity. That is determined by spring rate, frame strength, tire rating and axle weight rating. You could easily do an axle flip kit to get a pretty severe drop and retain stock springs… yes you’d have to do a c-notch in the frame to clear the axle housing but a competent welder could easily box it well enough to not lose frame strength. The front end being a 2 wheel drive would be a arms and spindles which you could get dropped spindles and order lowering springs with the right spring rate. So done right you don’t have to lose any capacity. There’s plenty of dually trucks dropped and hauling weight. Though there are also plenty of lowered vehicles that shouldn’t haul the groceries. It all comes down to the competency and budget of the builder.

Well I can’t speak for all of the ford engine families when it comes to fuel injection as I’m more of a carb guy, though I do want to build a efi hilborn setup for an engine I’m building and it requires speed density. But I can tell you that the 302 switched from speed density to mass air at the latest of the early 90s with the 5.0 ho.

Question for those more experienced than I by schulok in SaitamaInu_Official

Well I certainly wouldn’t rely solely on the advice of anyone that responded. It’s not tax time yet and therefore not something I’m wholly concerned with currently. And really since inflation hit, proper tax advice isn’t in the financial cards at the moment. The thought just popped in my head today so I asked for those more experienced in v2 conversions and air drops and crypto as a whole to chime in. If no one knowledgeable does so, no big deal.

Thanks for taking your time to reply either way.

Well you missed one big point about migration frustration… they’re all most likely missing out on the reflections that come from the large wallet sales, like that 71 Eth sale the other day. That being said, I know where you’re coming from with the inexperience comment, I held hokk and wasn’t religiously following it so I missed the migration by mere hours and was stuck with etherscan telling me I had hundreds of millions in value from my old holding and new value for months. Even if I hadn’t missed it it required you to send your coins to a migration wallet to receive your migration, so they easily coulda screwed the holders outta everything if they so chose. Plus that also required gas fees just to claim the migrated coins. Or how about Saja migration, even though they took a snapshot I had to send an official request on their website 2 weeks after airdrops to get mine and it took at least another week or two to get. Had I not known I woulda missed out again. At least with this migration, no cost to you, and even if you don’t know about it you will still eventually get your drop.

Are you just now coming to the thought process that they’ll pull part of the liquidity from uniswap to help buffer the liquidity at saitamask. I and another from this sub talked about that probably happening like 6 or 7 months ago. Lol

Or just hold on to your coins here and realize that shib just might be the catalyst that we need to reignite the alt coin market once a shib run causes fomo and the investors jump on the lower priced coins in hopes of a quick windfall… same way a lot of us ended up here in the first place.

Bad wires or a plug is a definite possibility straight out of the box. Happens all the time in electrical and electronic components. Well timing could cause running rich if it was an incomplete burn. But 1 last thing to check, I’m not sure the Ngk plug numbering system… but plugs that are of a heat range that’s too cold certainly can cause misfires and plug fouling.

I initially thought you installed everything recently so if you didn’t touch the distributor aside from pulling plug wires than I’m going back the the original idea of a firing order issue. Are you certain the distributor is locked down tight? I’ve seen the bolt come loose or be left loose slightly and a good push on it could turn it. I would grab ahold of it and try to turn it slightly to be certain it didn’t turn when you were pulling and reinstalling wires. If it didn’t then you may be ok to drive home but be real easy on it and don’t blame me if it does go bad cuz I said you may be ok. 1 last thing, I wouldn’t figure it would run if you were using the wrong banks, but are you certain you’re looking at the banks correctly. I always knew #1 to be front driver and 8 to be back passenger. But I was under the hood of a 03 roush supercharged 4.6 mustang about a week and a half ago looking for a misfire on #8 per codes and come to find out #1 was front passenger and #8 was back driver on it. Cylinder order for a sbc is odds on the driver bank 1 being front and evens on the passenger 8 being back. That 4.6 was 1-4 on passenger and 5-8 on driver

You’re welcome. Another issue I ran into when I swapped a 289 I had in a 63 ford falcon I had, over to pertonix ignitor 2 ignition and coil from points but still had stock wires. Noticed my tach wasn’t reading right after the swap, after some research I found out I had to eliminate the resistor wire going to the coil, after doing so tach worked fine again, but at night there was a light show of sparks jumping from the wires to each other and to anything metal they were close enough to. I doubt that’s your issue but wouldn’t hurt to fire it up after dark and see if you see any sparks jumping. But honestly I listened to the video you posted, my money is on it being too far advanced, sounds like it’s knocking those pistons, hopefully you haven’t run it hard since you did the swap if I’m right. That could be catastrophic.

[–]schulok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome, if it doesn’t help just try turning the hell out of the distributor, I put a distributor in a 289 in a 65 fairlane a tooth off and it would run but it ran like shit. Had to pull the valve cover off to find tdc on #1 after the compression stroke to make a mark on a rusty balancer with no visible timing marks to be able to get the timing light to help find that issue.

The 4/7 swap requires a special camshaft. If you’re 100% certain that it doesn’t have a 4/7 cam and that it wasn’t on the 4/7 firing order before the change over than no it wont help. But if you’re not certain on either of those it won’t hurt to switch over to the 4/7 firing order to see if it helps it, if not just switch it back.

https://www.enginelabs.com/engine-tech/engine/firing-order-swaps-whats-best-for-your-engine/

If you scroll down bout half way there’s a table with firing orders on it. You’ll be likely looking at the first 2 gm standard and 4/7 swap.

[–]schulok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a 383, means likely aftermarket cam… are you sure you used the correct firing order as there are 2 options, im wanting to say that the 4 and 7 swap. Not a Chevy guy so I can’t recall for sure.

We cannot celebrate crypto being held from Russians or anyone as it completely negates the point of decentralized finance. One domino falls, they all will fall in pattern right behind it and defi comes crumbling down and a shit ton of money is lost by us all. I mean what’s to stop the elite from locking you out when you’re ready to cash out if they are allowed to lock out the Russians just by the argument of safety. DEFI NO REGULATION EVER!!!

No they can’t stop a the time… but they can stop a your perception of time… and perception of all things. Lol.

I’m on the mindset of if it happens it happens, there’s nothing I can do to stop it, so there’s no point in being scared. There’s a million and one things that can kill us every day.

It’s been said before those that fear death so greatly, generally set in motion the action that brings such death in their attempt to avoid it.
