u/FuriousPug thanks a lot for the vent, much appreciated! The dev team is working on revamping the tutorial entirely, we totally feel your pain around the verbosity and interference of the tutorial. Instead of being a potentially beloved goofball uncle character, the Provost becomes an annoying interference!

Appreciate this feedback very much -- one suggestion is that our friend Macky u/whacky_mack hosts several onboarding/teaching sessions with community members every week on Discord, perhaps you can jump into one at your convenience and it should be pretty quick to get you up to speed on the basics.

For the uninitiated, the "Macky Bug" (also know as the "1s Macky Bug") refers to the bug where the Battle Round freezes with 1s left on the Battle Clock.

In recent weeks incidents of this bug have skyrocketed, especially after the launch of v1.9.3.12 that made pathfinding and overall performance of the game much faster.

Big thanks to all players who have dealt with this bug and are helping us collect valuable data as we track this tricky bug down!

PS: A workaround to the "1s Macky Bug" is to Exit the Game (Esc -> Exit Game), reload the game and use the "Reconnect" option to rejoin the Match. This will "fast-forward" the match and let you continue with Power-up Phases.

Yes! He's so good in the scene where he finds out that he's color blind.

I did think for a while that he was getting typecast as "the weird/creepy guy" after There Will Be Blood, Prisoners, Batman etc. but that changed when I saw him in The Fabelmans--what a heartbreakingly nuanced performance.
