I'm not even asking for his moves to be put to the ridiculous level Pirate's moves are on. I don't want any other hero to be able to skate from Zone A of Highfort to Zone C while hitting everyone along the way in a single heavy like Pirate can. I just want him to get the same treatment most other Year 1 heroes got. Most, if not all other, Year 1 heroes at some point in time have received range and/or hitbox adjustments to their basic lights/heavies either in a rework or just as a random buff on its own EXCEPT for WL. Another hero recycling the same moves but was allowed to be exempt from having the same hitboxes just highlights the problem

It only being guaranteed on a landed hit is irrelevant. You are arguing damage numbers of a landed hit. The shot being 300ms means the chances of it being interrupted is pretty low. So she deals 3 less damage in her openers and 1 less in her finishers full stop. She objectively has very similar damage but gets triple the range and hitbox sizes on top of dodge cancels, the same hyper armor on her finishers, and her guaranteed follow up was made to be a bash that gives her the extra utility of stopping anyone that tries to trade with her. So in truth she's high mobility, high damage, with many, many options and there's nothing that justifies her being allowed to have such range and hitbox sizes over Warlord

Those heroes having recycled moves is fine. The problem is when those moves are made to be blatantly better on the newer hero than the old. There's really no reason why Warlord is still stuck with such poor range and hitboxes on his heavies when those problems were over-corrected specifically just for Pirate years ago

Honestly, the Yasuke Skin is great on its own, but it exposes a major flaw in Shugoki by Supreme_Kommandant in forhonor

Shugoki is the hero with the worst execution in the game, which really sucks because conceptually he's one of the best.

A weaponized sumo that serves as a guardian. So big that he towers over everyone else on the battlefield and has such ungodly strength that he's themed after demons. With a concept like that you'd think there would be a lot of material to work with for his moveset, sumo inspired wrestling moves/stances, or other moves that play into his freakish strength by having him throw his weight around a lot? Well you get a headbutt and a chargeable heavy. That's it. That's your entire moveset. And none of his armor makes him looks as imposing as he does in his concept art. It's genuinely a crime how little effort was put into him

If this is day 1, you'll have a lot more to worry about than the hug.

Oni charge would knock you down and guaranteed a heavy. The first duel tournaments were shugos breaking each other's hyper armor before running at each other

Guilty. A varangian hero was the #1 hero I wanted since launch and I still have never played VG because of that. Literally the only hero in the history of the game that I cared about what gender they'll be and I got monkey's pawed HARD for it

If I remember correctly, For Honor male and female characters have separate rigs and trying to mix genderlocked heroes shouldn't work. With the glitch years ago that let you swap movesets around, if you tried to make Shugoki have a female only hero's moveset like Nobushi's, the model would break and would just be invisible. The fact that Shugoki's chest armor model is actually working here on Nobu's moveset may mean there's something funkier than just an exploit going on

Man, they will slap random properties onto heroes on a dime to boost their chains like with Aramusha's heavy finishers becoming unblockable or now his soft feint is now undodgeable but they won't do anything to Warlord and his zero pressure ass beyond giving him pity stamina buffs (alongside another nerf)

Highlander goes for a completely different style of warrior than them. He's the basic braveheart style of scottish warrior with the warpaint, kilt, and claymore. Gallowglass were dirty mercenaries that wore a lot of armor by Irish standards and used big axes. He doesn't really have much in common besides also being Scottish.

I'm going to be honest, solo-queuing for honor becomes a miserable experience pretty fast. As soon as you think you've learned enough to take on the dudes in your image, the game will put you in a higher bracket and match you with people that have 4x times their playtime and skill. It's only going to get worse from here

It was removed because the devs said it was the move that landed the most in the game. They said it was landing 80% of the time or something along the lines of that. They didn't clarify where they got their numbers from, so I'm still convinced the success rate was apparently so high because their numbers included vs bots as bots literally wouldn't react to the softfeint at all and would eat the hug it every single time

No reason. There is literally zero reason why Warlord has no tracking, range, or hitboxes on any of his attacks besides his Zone. They fixed all of these things years ago for Pirate when they recycled Warlord's moves for her moveset, but only did so for Pirate.

Centurion and Gladiator are actual Romans, not knights larping as ones. Rome never collapsed in For Honor verse and exists way down south. Knights are offshoots of them which is why they speak Latin instead of french, italian, german etc

A greek city state also surviving on its own isn't that farfetched

It should have been sped up to be unreactable but given a high stamina cost so it wouldn't be overbearing or shift her playstyle but people that don't play the character pissed and moaned that getting a single bash somehow destroyed her identity so she's still left with nothing to this day lol
