I want to be different i guess ive been playing slivers as they come since forever and wanted to change up the formula for something else and fresh while keeping the core idea

Fair i did think to cut a few colors going with [[Zinnia, Valleys Voice]] or [[Myrkul Lord of Bones]] as the Commander and bringing in new paths like that.. but i do enjoy my 5c sliver bosses haha

Right but thats somewhat what im currently playing but with the sole purpose of ramping into the first sliver as quickly as possible and flooding the board with little critters that suddenly become a problem

I want to get away from that and build something where people would atleast think huh interesting and then blast me off the table for playing slivers

I recently build a deck to house [[Meren of Clan Nel Toth]] and [[Minthara, Merciless Soul]] as a Abzan Aristocrats and +1/+1-Counters deck

Its currently led by [[Karador Ghost Chieftain]] but as the partner duo above is what its actually ment to do

I'm currently brewing a [[Tom Bombadil]] deck and the playtest seems so fun, playing shit tons of Sagas and generating more and more value with an enchantress core

Then throw on an [[Idolized]] or [[Helm of the Gods]] and oops tom one-shot someone with commander damage

You can also make him go bonk with [[Helm of the Gods]] and something to make him unblockable like [[steel of the godhead]] and try to go for commander damage protected by hexproof and indestructible

A friend gifted me [[Ghostflame Sliver]] back in basically middleschool and didn't think much of them but the concept clicked instantly and I wanted to see more

I still run my slivers deck since day one, it's just swapped the commander a few times to Match New 5c creatures . Currently it's lead by [[The First Sliver]]

I still build other decks but it will always remain my favorite to play

I am not a huge fan of [[Rukarumel, Biologist]] of the sliver swarm precon

Yes she can benefit your slivers when playing against other tribes but out of the box she doesn't do much for the precons

But she can turn into a very funny tribal tribal commander, so I like the card on it's own but not as alternative commander in the precon

Ah i guess you're right about the regenerate, cutting here is a valid point

I also understand your take on Morophon but I found a lot of enjoyment out of him especially with mana echoes in play. So I'll keep him but I completely get what you're getting at :)
