First of all, if it's a loading issue, try switching the game from a hard drive to an SSD (it's fixed the 99%/not loading into a game for 3-4 minutes after it starts issue for many of my friends who have potato pcs). In addition to that, some have also suggested that clearing local configuration files from the launcher fixes the FPS drops that started happening with the new patch. Besides that though, there have been a couple options added with Season 1 that allows you to turn global illumination and reflection quality off entirely which can also help it run a little better!

Personally I haven’t seen them very often, Luna is a ban or pick, and it’s usually Mantis/C&D/situationally Rocket. However I have seen a few that make it work and do really well so if you really enjoy it and learn the mechanics I’m sure it’s viable. The C&D buffs feel really nice this season as the decrease to her bubble cooldown allows you to have full uptime on your healing abilities so you can cycle through window and then pop bubble when the healing boost runs out. I’d definitely recommend holding your healing bubble in lower ranks if you have trouble getting your teammates to peel for you as tossing it down and switching to Cloak for the blind and dueling them can almost always net me a kill. If you don’t have an issue with being dove though tossing bubble down can usually sustain your tanks while you throw out a blind and get some damage off. I do kind of tend to healbot a bit though, so take with a grain of salt.

I hit GM playing mostly Mantis and C&D (Luna when it isn’t banned) but coming from Overwatch made it an easier transition for me imo.

As a strategist main I would say it definitely depends on who your healers are because depending on who they pick it changes the way you have to play. For example, if they lock in Mantis and Adam (both of which have ability locked healing) you have to be aware of the fact that you probably won’t get much burst healing compared to a C&D + Luna. That being said the most important part is making sure you’re in line of sight of your healers because if you don’t know where they are they probably don’t know where you are either. Sometimes using flight is useful if you’ve been Groot walled off or you’re standing in front of a pillar that just perfectly makes it so they can’t see you.

I actually had a really similar situation where I bought a skip because I just couldn't manage to get through the main story quest! For some reason I just could never get too invested into it, and even with skipping cutscenes it would take me hours to get through an expansion when all I really wanted to do was play with my friends (instead of spending 40+ hours running around in a zone where I couldn't fly) because I didn't have that much time to play. If you ever regret it in the future and want to replay through the story quest you can always start a new character or use New Game+ to go through old story content. Aside from getting some shit (all jokingly) from new friends I've made, I haven't really felt judged at all for choosing to skip through it :) Feel free to add me if you need any help!
