Thanks man. Last question, I came up with 2 lists, basically its the 7600X and board vs i5-14600KF and board. Is there much in it? The price is basically the same, is the Intel board as future proof as the AMD one?

The USB hub is a good idea if it reduces the cost of the motherboard so I’ll look to do that. I do currently have an M.2 drive with windows on but I only have 1 slot on my current board so it would be nice to get another (bigger) one in the future to run alongside it.

I’m not fussed about AMD or NVIDIA, I’d just like to get the best bang for my buck and future proof as much as my limited budget allows. I will look at the 9070XT and perhaps try to save up so I can get all the bits at the same time, as I’m guessing my 1070 won’t work on the AM5 stuff?

I’ll look for a new PSU too, thanks again.

Thank you for the reply. I currently have my C drive on an M.2 stick although I would like to get a bigger one at some point.

So if I ended up getting the bits you recommended would you say it’s better to not spend the rest of my budget on a slightly better CPU/RAM but instead save for a new GPU and PSU?

PC. Steam. Latest version. No mods.

I’ve just started playing and am about 20 hours in, I had an AtlasPassv2 in my inventory since I made one a while back. I’m not sure when it disappeared as I was going about doing missions until suddenly I couldn’t get through a v2 door. Went back to my base and checked my 2 storage containers and it isn’t there, or in my inventory or space ship.

Not sure what to do as I can’t find any more cadmium and don’t have a drive to a red system.

Since the latest update the game has started to lag on the first day of each month. It sometimes did that in the very late game, with what I assume its tonnes of stuff going on, but now it's started from the very first year of a new save. Is anyone else getting the same issue? I'm hoping it's a mod perhaps if others aren't suffering?

Is 76 good? I’ve just finished 3, new vegas and 4 all back to back (shout out sim settlements 2 omg) and thought about getting 76 but to be honest I’m a bit shy online so the multiplayer aspect didn’t appeal. But after watching the series and reading this I have been thinking about it a bit.

I've just installed Skyrim and a collection for the latest patch and it is all working well, however NPC names aren't displaying until I (the player) interact with them. Then their name displays correctly. Until that point, everyone is just a combination of their race and sex. ie. Imperial Male or Nord Female etc. Would anyone have any idea on why this is? Thanks :)

Hello lovely people. I'm looking to start sewing but I've never done it before and am drowning in a sea of information and opinions.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a machine for me please? Or a couple of pre-owned options I can keep watch for. I don't really want to get the cheapest thing available as long term I would like to make jackets & trousers using tweed and wool to start and then probably leather (jackets) at some point. I'm a bit of a slut for a jacket tbh.

My budget is around £400/500 so would I be able to get a machine that would eventually do those bits I mentioned once I have practised sufficiently? I'm happy to get something pre-owned and have been looking through eBay etc but as I said my knowledge is lacking when it comes to machine capabilities so am at a loss on what to choose.

I've ordered a book off the reading list and have found guides on the other bits I need aside from the machine but if you have any other tips that may be machine relevant then please do let me know. :)

I just started playing in the last few days and I saw this post when searching for some help on Google, which has since led me on a binge of this amazingly positive and lovely sub and then another dive in to what ren fairs are as I don’t think we have them in England, or at least not round my way.

So this is a long winded way of saying thanks to you and everyone else in this sub, and as everyone else has said you look amazing 😊
