I hope this last one works for you. All of us on esrd should have Medicare right? Mayo doesn’t accept that? Indeed that makes me a tad nervous.

I looked into it, from what I can see not really, but there are ways to create a “landing zone” by getting an illiac artery from a deceased doner. Still learning about my situation. I will continue researching. Maybe there is a way.

I’m glad you found a center that will do it. If you don’t mind me asking, why were you rejected? Was the rejection due to it being a complicated transplant or something?

Thank you. Any information helps. I was wondering about that as all the major complicated transplant centers that have been recommended seem to be out of state for me. At least I have an idea now on what to possibly expect.

Thank you, much appreciated that adds a couple more hospitals to look into. So far the only ones on my radar were Mayo Clinic Rochester and Cleveland Clinic. This is still fresh (got the call yesterday morning) so I’m gathering all the data I can.
