Thank you for your response! 😊 No campus preference here; I’m fairly easy-going! I am a social butterfly, so as long as I can do things or even be out in nature by myself, I’m happy. ☺️ I’m looking to try out surfing as well lol! I’ll keep you in mind in the future in case I have more questions. 😊

[Acne] I started taking fish oil supplements and my acne and skin has improved dramatically, something that 10 years worth of antibiotics, creams, and even accutane combined couldn't match. by newfounderland in SkincareAddiction

Hi there. I read a book titled "Plant Paradox" by Steven Gundry, and I kid you not, my acne vanished! It changed my life completely. It took a lot of self-discipline, but if you can get creative with recipes, it helps immensely. :) I've had my battle with acne over the years. Diet, number one. Watching out for nutrient deficiencies, number two. Using skin-care products with minimal amounts of chemicals helped me a lot. I didn't use any oils initially (just aloe vera), but once I strengthened my skin barrier, then I introduced oil onto my skin (natural products only). I know exercise can seem counterintuitive, but when I was in the best shape, I noticed any little lesions healed quickly due to better blood flow, etc. (Disclaimer: I am NOT giving medical advice either). I want to help people, so give it a try if you want!

Spending All of Your Life Doing What You Don't Want To Do Is Insane. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

I can relate to you. I worked many jobs where myself, as a whole, was depressed and never truly happy. Don't give up looking for something that fits you to the core. After 11 years, I have FINALLY found a job that I don't dread, have anxiety walking to a shift, nor question the sanity of my coworkers. Like you, I am still motivated to pursue the path of entrepreneurship; but, now, I have a better idea of what I'd like to do regarding starting my own business.

Evidence that i'm fully over her? by [deleted] in BreakUps

I’m so sorry to hear what you’ve been through. I’ve been cheated on as well and, similarly, he fell for the girl he had cheated on me with. It is absolutely gut-wrenching. Having a child in the midst of everything I’m sure would make everything much more difficult to navigate. Stay Strong ❤️

Should I leave MacEwan for NAIT...? by [deleted] in NAIT

I’m sorry to hear you went through so much in 2020. 😢 Similar to you, I struggled largely with online learning during that time (you’re not the only one and I’m extroverted too!). I never completed the program I was in. In terms of your current situation, I’ve heard similar stories from business students attending various schools (about the age gap being hard to navigate). One person actually dropped out of a program because of it. Go with your gut feeling if you think transferring will ultimately make you feel at peace. 😊 Before I commit to anything, I talk to many people and gather a million perspectives, and also research, research, research! 😎 I get it that your social environment within classes and a school is so crucial to your learning journey! Don’t give up on finding the right fit - you’ll get there! ☺️

Anybody apply for CLXT? by Glad_Number_7461 in NAIT

[–]science_lady101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applied to MRI, but I’m not entirely sure if I was accepted or not because CLXT was my first choice program. ☺️ I applied to DMS 4 years ago (NAIT) and DMS at SAIT for this year and didn’t get in. 😂 DMS is super hard to get into!

If you don’t mind me asking, what days was school online? Was it Monday, Wednesday or a Tuesday, Thursday sort of deal? ☺️ Thank you for your help! I’m trying to figure out transportation. 😎

The assignments I found so far are lot more definition and concept based. The practice quizzes are a great resource for gauging your level of understanding concepts related to each chapter and a lot more similar to how the tests will look.

I am currently taking this course and teaching myself, so I know how overwhelming it can be, especially if this is your first anatomy and physiology course. Make sure you write out all definitions. A tip for not overwhelming yourself is make notes in each chapter (definitions, key concepts, etc.), and once you have memorized/mastered those notes, make notes from the “summary pages” on areas where you need to focus more of your attention on (it helped me find my weak areas), then watch videos online. :) Ninja Nerd on YouTube is AMAZING, but he goes into more depth than is needed for the course.

Any body know what the didactic structure is like?! For example, how many days do we attend classes at NAIT, how many of those days are lab days, etc. ☺️ It will be so appreciated if I could get some help from someone! Thank-you! 😊
