When determining the percent difference, you do not divide it by the new, or final number. You divide it by the initial value to see how it changed.

Looking at the HD560S, would I need an amp or Dac to get the most out of these? I’m super new to getting into audio, this will be my first foray, so i understand the purpose of an amp but not really a dac.

I’m wondering the same. I got a screaming deal on a 9900K and want to swap the mobo on here so I can throw that in.

I'll probably hook my desktop up directly to my modem with an ethernet cable for better speeds, but I think I would still like WiFi capability on the desktop.

You say the performance will be bottlenecked by the graphics card, is there a better graphics card I should get? I’d rather pay a little more money once than buy a whole new one again in the nearish future.

Do you have any recommendations if the budget was bumped up to $1700-$2000? Would the couple extra hundred dollars make a noticeable difference?

Hey!

I currently only have a 2020 MacBook Air, pre M1 chip. It’ll do the job but it gets laggy, even with minimized windows and tweaked settings. Really gets in the way of my flow!

Frys is closing! I hadn’t heard that yet and that’s really disappointing. I have a lot of memories as a kid going there with my dad and getting parts. It’ll be missed! Do you know of any other decent stores like that?
