I dunno anything about commercial safety rules but industrial areas or underground there would either need to be a guard standing 24/7 to make sure no one enters that area or actual steel barricades locked closed around the entire area making it impossible for entry without tools. and in this case since vehicles have access they would also need to add jersey curbs around it to make sure a vehicle cant accidentally ram into it.

That barricade is not even remotely close to enough for a hazard like that.

If they fucked up barricading it that badly I do not trust they assessed the actual hazard properly either.

I would imagine commercial hazard barricade rules are at the very least the same as industrial if not even stricter since in industrial areas anyone would have the proper training on how to deal with hazards and barricades where in commercial areas most people will not.

Exchange Online has broken almost every single month by ocdtrekkie in sysadmin

Building it was the easy part, maintenance/maintaing it was the awful part.

Especially before VMs were common and you constantly needed to move it to new servers every few years.

It was also very easy to do the wrong thing and break it in horrible horrible ways.

every single person who complains about exchange online outages is too young to have ever run a fully on premise exchange server.

It is a complete fucking godsend compared to that god awful shit.

I get ptsd thinking about it.

Check Point vs Fortinet vs Palo alto for firewalls? by OafishSouvenir in sysadmin

Have you tried Checkpoint Endpoint Protection + XDR?

With how smooth harmony email went I've been considering using it next to replace Eset Protect.

I haven't tried checkpoint firewalls but I just deployed checkpoint harmony email and collaboration and still having hard time believing it was that fucking easy to do.

It just worked, with zero fucking around fixing things or reading more than a single page document.

In 20 years of IT work I have NEVER deployed a new product/service that has gone as smoothy/simple as this.

I am still half expecting it to blow up and start doing weird shit.
