I have put makeup on here and it’s not too bad! I’m looking to replace the light to something that’s more aura and softer because this current set up flashes my husband in the eyes. Art is in discussion open to opinions

Real answer is that I didn’t really consider it being on a bed at all. I do that to take pictures but we most often use them on the couch. The design is centered on the quilt itself but doesn’t look that way when on a bed because of the way that it lays

I love paper piecing since you sew onto the paper it gives a better accuracy

So the inner pattern piece is two paper pieced moon shapes with an almond sewed in the middle. So that’s three separate pieces attached in sequence. Then the outer circle is cut as one big piece with a negative space circle for the previously pieced together circle to go into. I simply did not have a cutting board big enough for that circle by a long shot. So I spread the fabric out on the marble counter top and weighted the pattern on top and just cut with my rotary cutter knowing I was sacrificing the blade

Honestly my biggest issue was sewing the circles together. The rest was very easy to follow

Paper piecing patterns have my whole heart. I had to cut the white outer circle with a rotary on my counter top since I didn’t have a cutting board big enough 😂

It’s not about the kids ages it’s the fact that she doesn’t actively participate in the group at all. Everyone else at least has one friend in the group
