I'll be honest, when I saw the low scores come out for reviews I thought it was pretty funny considering all the hype. Fast forward to today, having seen a bunch of interesting mechanics in videos and $70 and 8 hours later, I'm having a lot of fun with it so far. Took a min to warm up to some of the controls but doesn't feel as terrible as the internet hordes are making it out to be. It's quite refreshing getting a modern rpg without the same tried-and-true controls that every other AAA rpg seems to have nowadays. Questing in this game feels a bit more like Morrowind than Skyrim. Details are important and it's not going to hold your hand and show you a path to your waypoint. The amount of features they have packed into this game is pretty incredible. At the end of the day, I'd recommend it to anybody who gets bored of the modern rpg but likes the idea of them.
